Basildon: DeLorean deluge as film hits 20

MARTY McFly would have been proud when a convoy of DeLorean cars parked outside Basildon's UCI cinema to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the film Back To The Future.

The cinema, on Festival Leisure Park, played host to the largest collection of DeLorean cars ever assembled in the UK as 250 film fans enjoyed a screening of the popular film trilogy.

The back-to-back showing was on the same date Marty drove his DeLorean back in time in the original film. UCI spokesman Steve Harris said: "It was a great evening."
